Teacher Round-up and Fall Newsletter

Happy Fall Friends,
Is doesn’t seem possible that we are already looking forward to fall, the Houston Quilt Festival, Halloween, Thanksgiving and the December Holidays. What a relief this change in weather is for us after the dramatic heat of summer. Now we can only hope for continued rain to fill our lakes, wells and streams
Many of you have already registered for the buses we have going to Houston on Thursday, October 15th (FULL!) and Saturday, October 17th. We still have a few spots left on the Saturday bus and would love to have you join us for a full day of viewing the quilts, shopping and spending time with friends. Please give the store a call to register soon so you don’t miss out!
Our fall quarter of classes is sure to have something for everyone. Our Teacher Round-Up is Saturday, September 19th from 1 to 4 pm. We would love to have you drop by to visit, see the samples and sign up for classes. Remember class registration entitles you to a special 20% off discount on class supplies that day only!
Our Thimbleberries registration for 2010 is starting and we have the fabric samples and quilt options for you to choose from. Next year’s quilt program is “Village Green” with houses, elongated stars, trees and fences. Quite cute!
We would like to congratulate Linda Wojick on her winning the EMBY award from OESD with her fabulous “Variegated Garden” quilt. Her quilt was pieced on her 440QE and her 1630, embroidered with her 730, quilted on the HQ16 and binding completed with her NEW 830 machine! This quilt is a great example of the generations of Bernina machines working together to complete a winner! Stop by to see the quilt hanging in the store. We are so proud to have it!
Remember, if you are in the market for a new machine, October 17th is Bernina’s Super Saturday Sale, ONE DAY ONLY sale with special financing of 48-months for machine purchases over $4000. We will have the SAME pricing as the Bernina Booth at Festival, but you can take your machine home from the store rather than waiting for it to ship from Bernina after Festival. Come by the store to check out what pricing will be in Houston. We would love to see you with a new Bernina!
As always, watch your emails for upcoming sales and events. We hope you have a terrific fall and enjoy the cooler weather, some wonderful new patterns and beautiful fabrics! We are so lucky to have new fabric arriving weekly, a constant turnover of color. Come by to visit and take a look!
The Ready To Sew Staff

Happy Monday

Shop Hop was a great success. Thank you to all who braved the weather and made it out. We will be announcing the winners in the next few days. Have a great week of sewing.
